Passport: Get an updated passport. This can take 6-12 weeks. A visa is not necessary. Make a copy of your passport and hide this in your luggage.
Vaccines and Medications: Make an appointment with a travel doctor at least 6 weeks prior to your departure. You will need updated HepA/B, Typhoid, and Anti-Malarials

Donations: Volunteers are not required to bring donated supplies on their trip, but any donations are certainly welcome.
Culturally-Appropriate Clothing: Sleeveless shirts are acceptable. Most Haitian women wear blouses and skirts or dresses. Avoid short-cropped shorts.
Backpack/Shoulder Bag: Do not carry an obvious “purse.” Have a personal bag or backpack that you will carry with you at all times in Haiti.
Cash: Bring some personal spending money for taxi rides, tips, and emergencies
Laptops & Smart Phones: These are welcome as we do have electricity and internet in the house
