Corner Stone Clinics

Est. 2017

The Cornerstone Clinics serve as anchors of care in rural Haiti, standing halfway between a community clinic and a birth center. More involved than our smaller community clinics, these sites provide consistent maternal and newborn services and serve as gathering places for their communities.

  • Tissie Center in Rhoday functions as both a clinic and a community hub, offering regular maternal health services while also providing space for education and connection.

  • Jean Baptiste Center in Bokbonik, located near the border, is equipped for emergency response. With solar power, Starlink connectivity, and reinforced infrastructure, it supports families facing the compounded risks of climate change, displacement, and gang violence.

Both centers are designed with growth in mind and will be upgraded to full birth centers as soon as resources allow. They represent a deeper level of investment in communities where the need for accessible, reliable, and safe maternity care is urgent.
