Final Spring Fundraising Update

Dear Ones,
Thank you so much for all the support you have given us over this month’s fundraising campaign! You have truly caught the spirit of “Midwives in Motion,” as we have watched the activities and accomplishments of Midwives for Haiti. I have some beautiful updates for you!

Midwives in Motion: update
I am delighted to report that we have made our match with the doTerra Healing Hands Foundation, and our solar power system for the Carrie Wortham Birth Center is funded! Thank you for giving us light!
The birth center is progressing quickly, and we hope to be finished with initial construction in September.

We are still accepting registrations for our Midwives in Motion 5K through the end of June. This is a virtual run which can be done anytime during the month of June. We have participants from the US, Europe, Canada, and of course, Haiti! Some of our MFH family are early birds and have completed their 5K already!

At this point in the campaign we have raised $69,000, including our doTerra Healing Hands Foundation match, and we have four new recurring monthly donations. I know we can get over $70,000 before the 31st! Won’t you help us get over this very last hump? Please go to to donate online, or send a check to 7130 Glen Forest Dr Ste 101, Richmond, VA 23226.

As always, we are simply swimming in gratitude when we think about your trust in us, and your love for the people of Haiti. We have a lot of new projects in the works, and it has been our pleasure to share them with you over the course of this campaign. Please hold Midwives for Haiti in your hearts as we go into this period of expansion, which has been such a long time coming! We look forward to sharing more of our work as we move through the year together.

Love always,

Jane Drichta
