This week we met Shedlene, the valedictorian of Class 12. Her journey has been a difficult one, but you will be inspired by her drive and perseverance. She is an amazing person and midwife, and truly personifies MFH’s ideals.
Did you know Haiti has the highest rate of twins and other multiple births in Latin America and the Caribbean? These pregnancies can bring great joy, but come with additional risks as well. MFH has cared for many multiple births over the years, and we are raising funds for an additional ultrasound machine to detect these babies sooner. Our post this week shares the story of a mother who gave birth to surprise triplets!
